Brian Raybon, MD | Advanced Gynecology
Brian Raybon, MD
After obtaining degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from NC State University, Dr. Raybon attended UNC School of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree. From there he entered the residency for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University. After finishing residency, Dr.Raybon traveled the world doing visiting fellowships with renowned experts in different countries. Upon returning to the the United States, he entered a Pelvic Surgery fellowship in Baltimore where the emphasis was on gynecologic cancer and difficult pelvic surgery cases. Since then Dr.Raybon returned to Georgia where he has been in private practice over 25 years. He is considered an expert in all aspects of Urogynecology and Minimally Invasive Gyneclogic Surgery (MIGS). He rountinely recieves referrals from across the state of Georgia as well as the southeast.

Alexcis Ford, MD | Advanced Gynecology
Alexcis Ford, MD
Dr. Alexcis Ford is a Harvard trained urogynecologist/female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon, from Ontario, Canada, who is passionate about providing holistic, woman-centered care to her patients. Dr. Ford has received several honors during her education, including membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Society, several residency and fellowship teaching awards, as well as numerous surgical excellence awards. She has presented her research at many national conferences and has published in national and international journals, as well as authored a book chapter. She is eager to provide top quality care to women of the Greater Atlanta Area. Dr. Ford is exceptionally skilled in all modalities of minimally invasive surgery, including robotics, traditional laparoscopy, and vaginal surgery. She has extensive experience with both surgical and nonsurgical treatment of a wide array of pelvic floor disorders. She specializes in both native tissue (no mesh) and mesh procedures for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, and performs a variety of procedures for the treatment of urinary incontinence, including bladder Botox therapy, sacral neuromodulation, mesh sling placement, as well as native tissue sling placement. She also specializes in the management of pelvic pain, including vaginal mesh removal, as well as treatment of fecal incontinence and rectovaginal/vesicovaginal fistula repairs.

Lina Millan, MD | Advanced Gynecology
Lina Millan, MD
Dr. Lina Millan is a dual-board certified Gynecologist located in Athens, GA. She is fluent in english and spanish. She was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She went on to receive her undergraduate degree from Emory University and completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. When Dr. Millan is not working, she enjoys Crossfit, reading and spending time with family. Dr. Millan offers leading-edge treatments for a host of female gynecologic issues including pediatric and adolescent gynecology, PCOS, pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and bowel control conditions, endometriosis, infertility, treatment of uterine fibroids, post-menopausal bleeding or irregular menstrual bleeding, and perimenopause/ menopausal transition. She specializes in working with sexual assault victims.

Nina Metcalfe, MD | Advanced Gynecology
Nina Metcalfe, MD
Dr. Metcalfe was born in Brazil and lived in France prior to moving to the United States with her family when she was young. She played competitive volleyball in high school, winning two back-to-back state championships as the captain for her team. She then attended the prestigious Bowdoin College in Maine, where she graduated with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Utah, where she achieved her Masters of Science in Laboratory Medicine and Biomedical Science. She then moved to Atlanta, where she continued performing basic science research at Emory University prior to attending medical school. She believes that Urogynecology is about restoring form and function, and ultimately, improving a patient's quality of life. Her compassionate and honest approach makes patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment experience. Outside of work, Dr. Metcalfe enjoys spending time with her husband, a Plastic Surgeon, and their kids. They love exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and discovering new places.
